LPH was established in 1992. The staff comprises of experienced doctors and paramedics. The doctors after working in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on responsible posts and returned to Pakistan since then are serving their motherland.
Lahore Psychiatric Hospital is dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health services to individuals of all ages. This facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and employs evidence-based treatment methods to ensure the highest standard of care. Some of the specialized services offered include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and family therapy sessions. The hospital also offers 24/7 emergency services to address urgent mental health crises, ensuring that patients receive immediate and appropriate care.
LPH is a 40 bed hospital but the number is increasing on regular bases. Male and female patients are treated in separate wards. Unauthorized persons are not allowed in the female ward. The staff in this ward consists of females only. Privacy and security regulations are strictly observed in this ward. There is no need for the family members to stay with patient.
